Over the last ten months working as a part of the DCI, I have gained significant experience as a program officer assessing research project proposals d for the Digital Citizen Contribution Program as well as drafting Contribution Agreements for successful recipients and stakeholder engagement. In addition, I have also gained valuable experience assisting in developing recommendation packages for Ministerial approval and drafting official documents. Most recently, I assisted in launching a COVID-19 research call to better understand online disinformation regarding the coronavirus in Canada (https://www.canada.ca/en/canadian-heritage/news/2020/04/supporting-canadians-to-think-critically-about-online-health-information.html).
