As Summer sweeps by, we are faced with having to make difficult choices. Some of us may not be returning to school come September. Some of students may join our community through online course, and others may brave in-person classes. No matter the choice, or lack thereof, we all will be facing this journey together. As a history major, these stories feel necessary - your stories feel important. I want to provide an overview of what being an Xaverian means to you, and how COVID19 has affected you in your school lives, and personal lives. For those businesses grinding hard to provide customers with impeccably safe and high caliber service, I want to understand how the virus has affected their work, and livelihoods. This year will understandably be hard for us all, but through these stories, perhaps we can all find a common focus, and network of support in the weeks to come.
