My Racial Justice Leadership Grant Project is inspired by the many Black Women across this province of Nova Scotia who encourage future generations of leaders. This project is inspired by the women who are standing on the front lines at the protest. The women who hold our communities together. the women who are teaching in our classrooms. The Black women who are lobbying for policy changes and the Black women who are raising resilient Black children. I think it is important to recognize our unique perspectives and contributions to racial and social justice.
