Claire is a fourth-year student at the St. FX Rankin School of Nursing. She has spent her time at St. FX studying health policy, social determinants of health and health research, which has cultivated a spirit of inquiry and a passion for improving health from an upstream perspective. Outside of her academic experiences, Claire also spends her time playing board games with her six roommates and working various jobs around campus as a tutor, a lifeguard, a biology lab demonstrator or a chemistry lab assistant.
